Her only consolation was being made the Goddess of Death, having a pair of enchanted shears entrusted to her with which she cuts the Thread of Life (see page 8 of the Prologue). Her sadistic sense of humor and unnerving fascination with tragedy and torture make her fit for her role in the destiny of mortals, but at the same time make it obvious that she, in her own way, is also disconnected with reality. Luckily she has surprising control over her dark inclinations and her temper (which Libia unwittingly arouses quite often), only guilty of a few little slips once in a while. Interesting Facts: Dauthia used to be a high-ranking military commander in the Immortal Realm, and still has her armour.
